Perfect for your Valentine! Transparent and opaque enamels on copper. The heart "drawing" is made from inlaying fine silver wires and then filling with blood red transparent enamel, on an opaque white background. The enameled piece is appx. 2 1/2 inches in diameter, and hangs by both sides on a gun metal chain. The necklace is 16 inches long and sits just below the collar bones in a choker style. This is a one of a kind piece created by sifting ground glass in layers and firing in a kiln at 1500 degrees for each color. While durable, this is glass on metal, so please handle with love! In the shop now!

2009 Graffiti Cocktail Rings! These fun rings will soon be discontinued and replaced with rings set in sterling. Don't miss your chance to snatch up one of these extremely affordable, one of a kind pieces of wearable art! High fire opaque enamels on copper. The copper disc is hammered to a concave cup shape before enameling. The colors are layered creating the "graffiti" effect. Due to the nature of this enameling process, no two pieces are alike. Please allow for subtle (but exciting!) variations. Enameling is a process of fusing powdered glass onto metal at 1500 degrees. While durable, please handle with care and love as your piece is comprised of glass on metal. Chipping can occur to the glass if not careful. Best suggestion is to wear as a cocktail ring or for special occasion wear- not recommended for everyday wear. The enameled disc is appx. 3/4" in diameter. The edges are polished to a copper shine, and a piece of polish cloth is included. The ring shank is adjustable silver plate, one size fits most.
New rings added daily to the shop!

Brand new! Making their debut at Crafty Bastards on Oct. 3rd. These lovely leaves are opaque shades of green enamel on copper with sterling chains. Each one is different due to the shifting technique and a little bit of "drawing" with the enamel. These won't be in the shop till after the show, so if you have your eye on one you better head to D.C. on Oct. 3rd!*
*Out of area people just leave me a comment if you desire a leaf!

New Graffiti Drop pendant listed in the shop today! I really like how this photo turned out with the weird dried seed pod. The starburst shape echoes the graffiti-like explosion of color in the center of the pendant. I didn't notice till I posted. Have a great day everyone!

Graffiti Drop pendants. Enamel on copper.
Graffiti Rounds. Enamel on copper. New surgical steel kidney shaped wires. I love these because the enamel piece dangles lower and has more movement.

My nifty indoor/outdoor thermometer says it's 64 degrees inside and 23 degrees outside here in Charm City, and it's only going to get colder. Nowhere near the extreme of 38 degrees BELOW 0 that Minneapolis is experiencing, but it's still pretty frigid. It's too cold for me to work in my basement studio today, too cold to take pictures outside- what's a girl to do? So I dug up this little gem that I photographed earlier in the year but never posted. I know, it's a peony, one of my favorite springtime flowers, but it's making me think of the warmer days to come, working in my garden and enjoying the outdoors without risk of frost bite. This is the first peony pendant in this size, the others are large on sterling. Enamel on copper, 1.5" in diameter, perfect for spring time- even though we are still months away... :) Posted in the shop today!
